Häxa Tracking Line – Search for Wounded Game & Blood Tracking (6–12 m)

Whether you work with search for wounded game or train for formal blood tracking trials, you need a line that performs – in all terrain, in all weather, without getting in the way.

That’s why we developed Häxa together with search-for-wounded-game hunter Jimmy Låås: a durable, thoughtfully designed tracking line with smart field-ready details and clear colour coding. Made from 20 mm hexa material, it offers a secure, slip-free grip, won’t freeze in cold weather, tangles minimally and is easy to clean after long days in the forest.

You can choose between a carabiner or twist-lock hook – both made from lightweight aluminium with a 400 kg breaking load. The hook doesn’t disturb the dog’s work, and can be removed entirely if you prefer attaching directly to the dog’s collar.

For increased functionality in the field, the line is clearly color-coded:

• Start marking: The first meter is neon yellow on the 6 and 12m track line. The 10m is specifically adapted for blood tracking tests, so the first 5 meters are neon yellow with a tactile marker so you can easily follow the regulations for game tracking during the test.
• End marking: The last meter of 6m & 10m and the last 2 meters of 12m are also neon yellow, with a clear tactile marker so you know when the line is running out.
