Leather | Rex adjustable multi-leash

The Rex leather multi-leash is our interpretation of the classic leather leash – designed for dog owners who appreciate genuine materials, thoughtful details, and products that only get better with time.

Just like our Rex multi-leash in Hexa, it is built around the same smart functionality. With two clips and three D-rings (two fixed and one sliding), you can easily:

• wear the leash around your waist or crossbody
• create a traditional handle
• shorten the leash in seconds
• secure your dog around a tree, a pole, or a table
• adapt the leash to different situations during your walk

Premium leather from Tärnsjö Garveri

The leash is made from dark brown leather from Tärnsjö Garveri – a Swedish tannery with a long tradition of producing high-quality leather.

The leather has a semi-aniline dyed surface with a lightly greased feel that allows the material's natural structure to show through. Before the leash is sent to you, we treat it to provide good basic protection and a fine finish.

We have chosen a slightly thinner leather, about 2–2.5 mm thick and 16 mm wide. The result is a light, supple, and flexible leash that sits comfortably in the hand and ages with a beautiful patina.

Leather is a living natural material, and each leash has its own expression. Therefore, natural marks, small variations in structure, and shifts in color may occur. These are not defects, but part of the leather's character and a sign that the material comes from nature.

For us, it's part of the charm. Each Rex leash carries its own history and also develops a unique patina the more it is used.

Good to know

Leather is a living natural material and differs from synthetic materials like Hexa.

When new, the leash will feel relatively stiff. With use, it will gradually soften and conform to how you use it.

Because we have chosen a thinner leather, the leash may also stretch slightly over time, especially if used for dogs that pull a lot and for longer periods. This is a natural characteristic of leather and one of the reasons we recommend this product to those seeking a premium leash with a focus on feel, aesthetics, and everyday use rather than maximum tensile strength.

Clips and design

The leather collection is offered in two designs:

• Swedish BGB clips
• Twistlock clips

You also choose whether you want the leash with or without a traffic handle.

Unlike our Hexa leashes, the leather leashes are handmade in a single studio in Stockholm. We receive them finished, and therefore the clips cannot be replaced afterwards. Contact us at info@tassmark.se to pre-order with any of our other clips.

• Leather is a natural material – therefore, natural variations in color, texture, and marks occur, making each leash unique.

Care

• Wipe with a lightly damp cloth when needed.
• Let the leash air dry at room temperature if it gets wet.
• Lubricate the leather with leather balm when needed to maintain suppleness and protection.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and store the leash dry when not in use.
• The leash has a slightly stiffer feel when new and will soften with use.
• Over time, the leather develops a beautiful and personal patina.
• Since the leather is relatively thin, it may stretch slightly if used for a long time by dogs that pull a lot.

We manufacture all products to order and begin production and packing of your order within 2–3 business days. Delivery time is normally 3–7 business days depending on shipping method and delivery address. Shipping costs start from SEK 49, and you can choose whether you want the package delivered to your mailbox or a pickup point. We deliver throughout the EU and Norway, and all prices include customs and VAT – no extra charges apply.
