Leather | Rex multi-handle

The Rex leather multi-handle combines the features of our Rex multi-leash with the tangle-free swivel from Leia. The result is a flexible handle that makes it easy to create a hands-free double leash – whether you use our dog links or your own favorite leashes.

The three D-rings allow you to wear the handle around your waist, crossbody, or use it as a traditional handle. At the other end is a Twistlock hook with an integrated swivel that allows the leashes to move freely and reduces the risk of them twisting.

Use the handle in multiple ways

• Together with our dog links to create a hands-free double leash.
• Connect two of your own leashes to create a smooth double leash with less tangling.
• As an alternative to the Leia handle when you want to wear the leash around your waist or over your shoulder.

Premium leather from Tärnsjö Garveri

The leash is made from dark brown leather from Tärnsjö Garveri – a Swedish tannery with a long tradition of producing high-quality leather.

The leather has a semi-aniline colored surface with a slightly greased feel that allows the material's natural structure to show through. Before the leash is sent to you, we treat it to provide good basic protection and a fine finish.

We have chosen a slightly thinner leather, approximately 2–2.5 mm thick and 16 mm wide. The result is a light, pliable, and flexible leash that sits comfortably in the hand and ages with a beautiful patina.

Leather is a living natural material and each leash has its own expression. Therefore, natural marks, small variations in texture, and shifts in color may occur. These are not defects, but part of the leather's character and a sign that the material comes from nature.

For us, it's part of the charm. Each leash carries its own story and also develops a unique patina the more it is used.

Good to know

Leather is a living natural material and differs from synthetic materials like Hexa.

When the leash is new, it will feel relatively stiff. With use, it gradually softens and molds to how you use it.

Since we have chosen thinner leather, the leash can also stretch slightly over time, especially if used with dogs that pull a lot and for longer periods. This is a natural property of leather and one of the reasons why we recommend the product to those looking for a premium leash with a focus on feel, aesthetics, and everyday use rather than maximum tensile strength.

Hooks and craftsmanship

The handle comes with a twistlock hook at one end and a BGB hook at the other end. Unlike our Hexa leashes, the leather leashes are handmade in a single studio in Stockholm. We receive them finished, so the hooks cannot be changed afterwards. Please contact us at info@tassmark.se to pre-order with any of our other hooks.

Care

• Wipe with a lightly damp cloth as needed.
• Allow the leash to dry at room temperature if it has become wet.
• Apply leather balm as needed to maintain suppleness and protection.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture and store the leash in a dry place when not in use.
• The leash has a slightly stiffer feel when new and will become softer with use.
• Over time, the leather will develop a beautiful and personal patina.
• Since the leather is relatively thin, it may stretch slightly if used for a long time by dogs that pull a lot.

Shipping costs start from 49 SEK and you can choose whether you want the package delivered to your mailbox or to a collection point. We deliver throughout the EU and Norway, and all prices include customs duties and VAT – no extra charges apply.
